Where Feminism Turned Left and Got Lost
By Wendy SullivanI read this very interesting article yesterday by “Fjordman“. In it he highlights how women no longer feel protected in less than savory situations, and talks about the rape gangs in Western Europe.
As in war, the winners seize the indigenous women all the while protecting their own. The whole rhetoric that aims to debase the European woman or France (‘I screw France like a whore’ says rap group Sniper) is a part of the feminization of the white race, of the idea that Europe is a land to be conquered, a habitat open to all forms of pillage.
His premise is that by emasculating men and keeping them as house pets and sperm donors, we have eliminated our first line of protection against danger. This is especially true in Europe, Canada and other gun-hating countries - an unarmed woman cannot defend herself.
Beyond mere feminism is the question of women’s pet politics: Multiculturalism, focus on rehabilitation instead of punishment for criminals, the demonization and hatred of the white Christian male… By trying to be “nice” and make the world a softer, more candy-coated place, we have forgotten that human nature is not inherently good, and left ourselves open to attack. Our men, for the most part, are no longer men.
This newer post-feminist generation (of which I am proud to belong) seems to realize some of the errors of previous generations of feminists, and I believe we will slowly try to reverse some of these policies that have done us more harm than good. We realize the value of men in our lives. We know that men and women are different, and each serve to compliment the other. And hey - we have LadyBlog to discuss it all!

Protection by the ’strong man’ is central to the plot of ‘The Sheik’ by E.M. Hull. And the strong man is an Arab (or at least we think he is for most of the book). I’ve done a rewrite of the book called A Sheik in Manhattan (available at LuLu.com) because the strong man these days it seems to me is again the cruel aggressive Muslim fighter. In fact, I’d go a step further and say that the primary reason Western post-feminist women haven’t spoken out against Islam (and the rape squads you mention in Europe) is that, at some level, they actually want to be dominated, scooped up and carried off to Saudi to be kept like songbirds in golden air conditioned cages. Why else the popularity of the Cinderella myth (Maid in Manhattan, Pretty Woman, even Pride & Prejudice)?
Fjordman is a good poster to keep reading, although his message is that Europe is largely lost. It’s a continent no longer able to defend, or even define, itself. We’re next.

Wendy - “complement” each other. As well as compliment.

It has been the old men who have responded most bravely in recent well-publicized ’situations’. Boys need models and heroes to be shown how to be brave, and they have not been getting such inspiration in recent decades - quite the contrary, perhaps. Without proper guidance as boys we can become Men Without Chests, to use C.S.Lewis’ formulation.
I am lucky that my father was a war hero, and a very brave man generally; and I am lucky that I have never had to find out whether that model has left its mark on me.

[…] This blogger, I think, spells out very well what I’m getting at. …by emasculating men and keeping them as house pets and sperm donors, we have eliminated our first line of protection against danger.
